Eat the rainbow…and some pale stuff, too

Here’s a great reminder that “white” foods encompass more than just white flour, sugar, and rice. In fact, many of these pale edibles are chock full of nutrients and healing properties. We’re so used to hearing that we should avoid white foods in general (thanks to flour and sugar) and focus on pigment-rich fruits and veggies. But let’s hear it for mushrooms, onions, garlic, cauliflower, and others!
